FAUX FUR, WINTER OOTD | Sponsored: Firmoo Sunglasses Review

22:46 B 19 Comments

First of all, I would like to say a big thank you to Firmoo for a lovely compliment about my blog, and sending a stunning pair of sunglasses for me to review.  I've chosen this in the colour tortoise because I love the design of the sides, and the fact that it's quite oversized.  I love oversized sunglasses, but when I received this and tried it on, the frames are quite big for my face, although it fitted perfectly around my nose and ears.  The quality is well-made, and the plastic doesn't feel cheap at all!  However, if I have to make a critical comment, it would be the fact that the lens on both sides do not meet the end of the frames.  Personally, I wouldn't choose to have a gap on both sides of my sunglasses frame.
It's getting really cold over here.  And the fact that I kept getting ill and being stressed about things aren't cool as I have so much work to do for uni.  Also, it gets completely dark by 4pm, so trying to do everything while the sun (even though we don't really get sunshine in England..) is still out can be a challenge as there are more hours of darkness.
Anyway, if you're from a warmer/hot country, please send me some of your sunshine
as a hot chocolate drink won't even keep me warm! <3

Romantic Dinner | Couple OOTN

20:40 B 23 Comments

First of all, I apologise for not keeping my blog up to date as I used to.  I'm currently back for my third and final year of university, and I must say it's pretty hectic!  Not only that but, I've been wanting to have some time away from my blog so I could catch up and spend some more time with people in my life, make plans for my future and have a balance on every other responsibilities that I have.
A few days ago, me and my boyfriend went out for a romantic dinner at Cafe Zoot, for our two years anniversary.   It was our first time to dine at this local Italian restaurant - the atmosphere, food, service and the interior was very lovely.  We decided to go for a little walk at the cathedral afterwards, purposely to take some lovely photos of us.  But by the time we were happy with the camera's settings, it decided to play dead on us.  We were absolutely freezing trying to shoot without a proper photographer, as it took us longer than we thought.  It turned out that we have one decent photo together, but it is a very special one!

Let's punk around Camden Town | OOTD

16:34 B 34 Comments

As some of you may know, I was in London a couple of weeks back.  Working for amazing designers, fashion shows and met/worked with a lot of amazing people during LFW.  Not forgetting to mention how much I enjoyed seeing all the fashionistas and bloggers, who were indeed very-well dressed!  There's always something exciting to see/do over there, I really can't wait to live there after graduation!
I probably didn't even look punk?  But, I was feeling experimental, therefore wearing a leather jacket and dark plum lips were punky enough for me.  I don't think I could ever be a full-punk girl, as I'm sure that they won't even do peace sign in photos.  However, I have a great love for leather though!
Spent the day with a great friend of mine, The Equinox Fashion

BLUE YELLOW ON BLACK | OOTD

01:49 B 35 Comments

Back in July when I was in Milan, I felt so captivated by the amazing city and the fact that every places I visited were mega busy!  It was so grateful to be invited into a press office, where I was able to check out new trends and collections before they even hit the magazines/runway!
I've learnt so many things about the fashion industry.  Which I've realised that it's not possible to walk into those 'secretive' places, unless you are someone.  That experience definitely was an eye-opener, and has made me feel more aware of how hard I must work to get where I want to be.
Nothing is easy, so in my opinion, it's best to start from the bottom and work your way up!

LONDON FASHION WEEK: Must Haves

16:31 B 16 Comments

Hello my lovely readers!
I am so excited to share the latest update with you!  Some of you may already know that I will be in London from 11th-16th of september, working at London Fashion Week - which is a definite dream come true for me!  You wouldn't believe how excited I am to have this opportunity given to me!  I feel so grateful, therefore I promise that I will do my very best at it!
I will also be meeting with more people from the industry, as well as hanging out with a great blogger friend of mine.  So if any of you are about, feel free to contact me so we can introduce ourselves!
I'm currently in the process of making decisions of what I want to pack for fashion week.  I know that my gold jewellery is a big must for me, but I also know that I can't go wrong with leather.  And a little bit of fur won't hurt, so I've combined the two together.  Plus, I have my eyes set on a gorgeous leather and fur jacket from River Island, which I hope to own very soon!
Can you guess which one?

TURQUOISE & A SNAKE | OOTD

14:08 B 27 Comments

I have less than a month left, until I have to say goodbye to summer.
Therefore, it is appropriate for me to share a few more summery outfit post(s) with you, isn't it?
I love everything about the summer, apart from when the weather gets stupidly hot!
I'm lucky when it comes to tanning as well, probably because I was originally quite tanned.  So I don't really need to sunbathe to turn dark.
Anyway, during my time at Phuket, me and my family stayed at an beautiful resort, Twinpalms where we have booked a luxurious penthouse for the weekend.  I thought it would be a lovely idea to shoot this holiday outfit around the resort.  I had other guests starring at me, as well as trying their hardest to get in my photos. They probably knew I was 'keen', as I enjoyed posing in front of the camera!

Summer Holiday 2013 - THAILAND!

22:21 B 12 Comments

Hello! Or if you would like to have a go at basic Thai
then you would have to say 'sawasdee; pronounced as sa-wad-dee', which means hello!
I know that quite a lot of you are looking forward to this post, so here it is,
a little sneak peek of my summer holiday in Thailand!
I went to quite a lot of places (mainly amazing restaurants, haha) including Phuket (located south of Thailand), which is very famous for beautiful white sandy beaches, breathtaking islands, clear blue sea and perfect scenery.  Although, my trip to Phuket this year wasn't as perfect as many years ago, as me and my family went during the damn-heavy-rain season.  So our plan of going out to the sea on big boat to 'Phi-Phi Island' and other islands were washed down the drain.  But I've managed to splash around in our private penthouses salted swimming pools, so at least I felt like I was at the beach!
I still had an amazing time there, as I was out eating (a lot), shopping, and all sorts in Bangkok.  I promise that I'd upload some more posts of where I've been in Thailand in the near future!  It will be exciting to show you some food and places you might not have been to, seen or heard of before! :)
BRB, I'm going on a diet!
See you on the next post!

GEOMETRIC GOLD AND A BLUE CANDY | OOTD

11:30 B 29 Comments

I apologies for not wearing heels with this outfit, even though I really wanted to!
But, I must admit that walking all day, plus jumping on and off the trams around Milan were tiring.
This outfit has been thrown on in about five minutes, as I had to rush back to my apartment, got changed and went straight back out.  At least I made an effort with my bright red lips though!
Since it was a social/last gathering evening with some friends, I decided that this geometric patterned gold skirt from Topshop will do the job.  It has that shiny, metallic feel to it, which I think is very modern.  And last but not least, a very up-to-date trend of 'see-through or clear accessories' such as this gorgeous candy handbag by Furla.  I absolutely love the denim touch to it as well!  Although, it's a little bit see-through, but not so much that people can see what you have in your handbag!
(unless you desperately need to look very closely at someone's belonging)
IN THIS OUTFIT:
HANDBAG - FURLA
SKIRT - TOPSHOP
VEST (WITH SLITTED BACK) - ZARA
WATCH - MICHAEL KORS
NECKLACE - PRIMARK
BRACELET - TOPSHOP
SUNGLASSES - PRIMARK
SHOES (WITH GOLD STUDS) - PRIMARK
Have a wonderful day,
Boonya

Ps. sorry if my legs looked a bit bruised. I was attacked (badly) by mosquitos everyday! :(
